For older model SC-100A, SC-200 and SC-300 instruments with their original firmware, this service includes the installation of the latest version of the firmware and a final test of the instrument to ensure the firmware installed correctly. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges, both inbound and outbound. Outbound shipping will be billed upon completion of work.

Description

For older model SC-100A, SC-200 and SC-300 instruments with their original firmware, this service includes the installation of the latest version of the firmware and a final test of the instrument to ensure the firmware installed correctly. Our technicians will also do a quick visual inspection of the circuit board. We recommend this service for all older versions of our instruments. This service provides updates in the test mode of your instrument and will not affect the functionality and methods for testing. These updates provide crucial data enhancements and may prolong the life of your instrument.

Current firmware versions are (as of May 1, 2020):

SC-100A: 1.1.2 (1.2.d for newer models)

SC-200: 2.1.2 (2.2.e for newer models)

SC-300: 3.1.2 (3.2.e for newer models)

To find out which firmware version your instrument has, you will need to enter into Test Mode on your device. To do this, simply hold the power button down for 2-3 seconds until a number like the ones listed above shows up. [This is also described in Appendix A of your manual.] That number is your firmware version. If you continue to hold the power button the instrument will turn itself off. If any additional service or repairs are deemed necessary our technicians will contact you with further information. If you would like your electrodes inspected and maintenance performed on them, this is an additional cost. The cost for the firmware upgrade plus electrode inspection and test is $99. Turnaround time: 24-48 hours

Please remove and retain the batteries. Carefully package the instrument (and electrodes if you also want the electrode inspection and test). Please include name, address, email address, and telephone number in the package.  Ship the package to us, properly insured, to the address below. Write your order number on the package or shipping label. We will contact you with any
additional findings.
