A Magnetic Stirrer helps make titrations easier by creating a constant vortex so you can do your titrations with a uniform wine sample. We have two options available, one small stirrer and one large. Very convenient for the SC-100A, SC-200 and the SC-300 analyzers. The magnetic stirrer is perfect for testing pH, TA and SO2 levels.
The small Magnetic Stirrer comes with one stir bar and a 50 mL cylinder and is battery powered (4-AA batteries included).
The large magnetic stirrer is powerful and can stir up to 2L (includes a magnetic stir bar and needs to be plugged in to the wall for power)! A very handy and versatile tool for any winery.
WARNING: If using this magnetic stirrer, be careful to keep the bottom of the electrode that is in use, away from the spinning stir bar. The spinning stir bar can damage both the pH and SO2 electrode. We recommend using the Electrode Holder which attaches to the Lab Support Stand, and adjust the electrode to a proper height to prevent damage.
