We offer pesticide residue analysis by semi-quantitative Mass Spectrometry.  In partnership with Terrano Labs (, our service includes matrix-specific sample preparation, separation and detection by LC/MS, and thorough data processing by a Ph.D.-level scientist.  We offer a panel containing the top 30 pesticide residues that are of concern, with a detection level of 100 PPB providing accurate data compared to reference standards. Custom pesticide panels are also available.  As little as a 24 hour turnaround time is possible.

Pesticide impact on human health

Pesticides have the potential to affect health. However, in many cases the amount of pesticide exposure is too small to pose a risk. To determine risk, one must consider both the toxicity or hazard of the pesticide and the likelihood of exposure. A low level of exposure to a very toxic pesticide may be no more dangerous than a high level of exposure to a relatively low toxicity pesticide, for example.
