Did you know that we also have a small winery here at the Vinmetrica warehouse? We started out like most hobbyists… one barrel led to another and pretty soon we were making so much wine we decided to go commercial.
We are a licensed, commercial winery producing around 300 cases of wine per year. We specialize in Viognier, Sangiovese, and Malbec among other varietals typical of the San Diego region. We source only local grapes that we pick by hand to produce quality, memorable wines. We have won several local awards for our wines including “Best in Class”, Double Gold, Gold, and Silver at the Toast of the Coast Wine Competition in San Diego. We have also been awarded two San Francisco Chronicle medals, one Silver and one Bronze at their 2017 competition. We hope you enjoy our wines as much as we do.
