  2. Can you explain why the calculation for TA is 2*V used and not MV (1) = MV (2)

      M1V1 = M2V2 does work; you want to know M2, the molarity of the equivalent tartaric acid in the wine sample of volume V2. M1 is 0.133 mol/L if you use our TA Titrant. V1 is the volume of TA Titrant needed to reach the endpoint of pH 8.2; in that case M2 = M1V1/V2 in units of mol/L as tartaric acid.
      Since most winemakers want to know the result in g/L as tartaric acid, the 2*V figure gives the correct result if you use our TA titrant and 5.0 mL of wine sample.

  3. Do you have a library of Safety Data Sheets that customers can download from?

      All our SDS sheets are on our website under the “Support” tab and then Safety Data Sheets (SDS). They should all be there but if we are missing one, please let me know.

  4. ABV manual and the video are not the same 1.5 mL of developer vs 2.0 mL in the video and in the video the bucket and lid was not rinsed just added 10 mL of DI water. I just want to be clear on what to do to get the best results.
